Nesta segunda-feira (26) acontece o Video Music Awards 2019. São mais de 10 artistas confirmados para cantar na premiação da MTV. O evento acontece no Prudential Center in Newark, Nova Jérsei.
O anfitrião da noite será Sebastian Maniscalco, um ator de comédia que estrelou “Greenbook”, o filme ganhador de Oscar.

As Performances
Ariana Grande deixou avisado que não vai comparecer. Mas isso não é um problema já que a lista de performers este ano está bem cheia de coisa boa!
Taylor Swift está confirmada para abrir a premiação. A cantora que lançou um álbum na última sexta-feira (23), tem muito material pra apresentar.
Enquanto isso, alguns artistas que estão a pequenos passos de conquistar o #1 vão apresentar seus hits como Lizzo, com ‘Truth Hurts’, Shawn Mendes e Camila Cabello, com ‘Señorita’, além do recordista Lil Nas X, com o smash ‘Old Town Road’.
As revelações latinas como J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Rosalía e Ozuna também vão subir no palco para mostrar seu gingado.
Jonas Brothers, Queen Latifah, Redman, Fetty Wap, Naughty by Nature, Wyclef Jean, H.E.R. e A$AP Ferg também vão se apresentar.
O grande momento da noite deve ser de Missy Elliott, que vai receber o prêmio de Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, e performar um medley de seus grandes sucessos.
Normani também promete ser bastante falada. A ex-Fifth Harmony lançou o clipe de ‘Motivation’ recentemente e vai fazer uma performance inesquecível de seu primeiro single.

Entre as mais indicadas estão empatadas Taylor Swift e Ariana Grande com 10 nomeações. Só o clipe de ‘You Need To Calm Down’, de Swift, recebeu 7 nomeações. Logo depois na lista, temos Billie Eilish com 9 indicações, incluindo “Revelação do Ano”. Quem também concorre nessa categoria, é Lil Nas X que recebeu 8 indicações.
Uma grande novidade deste ano está a categoria “Melhor K-pop” que foi criada para a edição de 2019.
